Boo Hoo WAH!!!!

I think my D**N power supply broke something in my system when it went out...

I had to replace my PS, and then I decided to go back to Win 2k from XP.

Now, after my third re-install, I am starting to think something is broke...

I can install and reboot the machine as times as I want. Runn all the updates, whatever. But, when I come back the next day...
that is when things go wrong... This time it is the registry that has issues.
Stop error c0000216 or something like that...
Last time, it said that it could not find c:\winnt\system...

ARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!

It is gettin' annoying!

Any thoughts...

sounds like your harddrive may be going south for the summer

I tried to upgrade my system to a cheap 500W compusa PSU and it fried the IDE controller and Proc on the MB. You might want to see if thats the case with your system.

smells like your HD is on the out. Try replacing it or getting it RMA'd.

Yep, it was tha DA** HD. Got a 60Gig 7200 RPM Maxtor for 99$
and all is well...
