i oc'ed my AMD xp 2000+ to an xp 2200+ or 1.8ghz...i cant go any higher...i dont think my psu supports it any higher...and i need a better heatsink and some thermal grease before i test it any higher

your psu will work with your cpu at a higher speed, the only problem would be if you have increased the voltage alot, have a look in you bios and see if there are any voltage lines under what they should be, if there are, get a better psu.

for thermal grease, get artic silver III or Artic silver Aluminua.

i will leave the heatsink thing for other people, i cannot spell most of he names of them.

For heatsink get a AX-7 and thermal past get asIII. How powerfull is your psu

ok...the ax-7 must be good if thats all im hearing from u guys is buy the AX-7!! heh its an Antec 300W PSU...i heard that antecs are pretty good with their PSU's but i dont really know if they are or not
