This might be a stupid question, but im a newbie and am currious as to what is prime95? If it would benifit me were could I get it

Use it to test the processor stability. This is of particular importance when oc'ed.

I plan on overclocking in the future as soon as I get the cash rounded up. Where can I get Prime95

Prime95 is a program to find the next prime number. It does some very heavy math calculations hence the reason people use it to test a system or to "burn" in a system.
