internet setup in windows 98

i loaded windows 98 on the new system i just built and i cant seem to get on the internet. my network card drivers are loaded. im using a cable modem with DHCP. what do i need to do? the connection wizard does nothing for me. need help soon.

I have no experience with cable modems, but for the network card, you should go Network in Control Panel, click on your net card, and click on Properties. You should be able to set your addreses, and take care of it from there.

call your ISP technical support. They should be able to tell you step by step on the phone.

thanks guys, i just had to reset my cable modem when i switched systems.
