    I like 3dMark 2001 SE for D3D benchmarking.
GLXS for Open GL benchmarking. Quake 3 Arena is also good.
For general CPU/memory/HDD speed I use PCMark 2002.
Sandra is good, but its benchmarks are so synthetic that they donít mean jack.

dacris is good, but I say one of sandra's uses is that its burn in module is VERY useful for stablity testing.
A creative solution (that works :)) is a good solution.

My setup: Ghetto Celeron 600, Athlon XP 1600+ (currently OOS), and A64 3200+ - "yay it finally works!!"

I got a good stability tester for my PC - it runs your CPU at 100% load.

    Got SETI?

We are stuck with technology when what we really want is just stuff that works.
How do you recognise something that is still technology?
A good clue is if it comes with a manual...

Early in life I had to choose between honest arrogance and hypocritical humility. I chose the former and have seen no reason to change.
