I get 5791 now in 3DMark2001 with the new detonator drivers on my Elsa GeForce 3 running at 200/460... i'll overclock it a bit tonight and see if i can get any higher...

3dmark2001 score: 1755! Not bad huh?

Tonight i will overclock it to 187, and repost, i will probably score in the low 1800's. Look at madonion.com and do a search for Duron's and voodoo3's. The highest score is 1880. im not too far away. The 1880 score was with a Duron @ like 1048 or something and the voodoo at like 200, so just compare, and my system is pretty good.

HAHAHA I love overclocking! I can't wait to test out my VooDoo3 with my 1ghz AXIA @ 1.4+(didn't get it yet)

Amedeo602, make sure you have installed the drivers for the AMD 760 Chipset. That was the big problem for me, I have a similar system, and it made the difference of about 3000 something 3D marks... hopefully that will help you. You can get the drivers by clicking below. Install the AGP miniport driver that matches your system and then try 3Dmarks again.

Eil: The asus mobo has an Ali chipset on it, not an AMD.

BUT THEN AGAIN, desperate times call for desperate measures...I'll d/l it and give it a shot, but I prob won't be able to post until tomorrow cuz I have to goto work for 14 hrs today

I gave it a shot and it didn't get my score out of the 33xx range (for 2k, didn't bother w/2k1)
So I put the Ali drivers in and I'm gonna try it when I get home from work (didn't have time before )

ok, i fixed it...i put the ali agp controller in and score went up (not quite as high as i'd like, but it's a start)

Just ran 3DMark2000 and 3DMark2001 with the system in my signature. No o/cing at all to the vid card, proc, or fsb. I'm getting a score of a little over 9100 in '2000 and a little over 5400 in '2001. I'm guessing this is ok? Any input on how I could improve the scores if they are low? I'm running the latest drivers that shipped with my vid card, but I'm thinking of going with the nVidia ref. drivers.

for the drivers, go to www.the-ctrl-alt-del.com and check out the latest drivers. try out a few and see which work best. i think the detonator 12.xx are best for geforce 3 cards. also, when you o/c the card, make sure that it is cooled well.
