what is vivo?

Just installed an x800 xt in a comp im building for a friend and it a vivo version. I'm sorry to be noobish, but what exactly is vivo? How would he or I take advantage of it?

it means video in, video out.
So you can connect ur tv to it and the picture will come out the tv
or you can connect something like an xbox to it and play it on the tv.

my vid card has vivo and basically it comes with a dongle cable with several cords. with this u can do pc stuff on tv with the rca or s-video out witch all video cards can do, but u can do the same thing but reverse any rca or s-video device can be captured with the pc.

it not that great cause there are better capture cards out there with component connections. the only thing it would be usefull in my opinion would be taking old vhs or camcorder and capture and covert to dvd or avi.

The only reason ovrclockers like it so much is the x800 pro vivos have a chance to flash to a x800xt pe. Otherwise you all you are getting is an input for your camcorder.
