~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Again, Thanks for taking the time to allow me to interview you.
When did you join the Team? Approximate date is ok if you don't know the specific date.
I think last month, after the switch from team 12772, OCC
If there was something recent that you did that you wanted your fellow teammembers to know about, what would it be?
This is not too recent but I split a cheap 400 watt PSU on two computers (duron 1.2, p3 1.0) this year for folding (now down)
What is your EOC (extremeoverclockers) stats link?
EOC
You do not have to give specifics (address), but what State do you live in, and if you don't mind telling, what town? (town is not required, but if not a town, a general direction and distance from the nearest 'big town/city' would suffice)
New Hampshire
How did you initially hear about F@H?
When I was a member in the overclockers club forums I saw a lot about it. I had no idea what it was even after my frist WU was complete. Now I know about it. I am not folding as I need new ram so please forgive me. Will be folding next week I think.
After starting, why do you continue to Fold?
It will help cure disease and do other good.
What do you do for a living?
Repairs
What do you do for fun?
Modding, water cooling (some)
Is there anything special you do in your spare time that you really enjoy?
Playing Unreal Torunament 348
Time to spill your guts. What are the stats of your main folding rig? Why is it your fave? What all do you use the rig for?
Well this is not much right now... but the rig it should be by the end of october is: Pentium 4 @ 2.9 GHz (before OC), 1 - 2 GB RAM, 400 + 170 watts of power, 160 Gig and conroe some day...
Do you have a Borg-Farm? If so, how many computers, and what are they? (CPU, RAM)
Nothing is up now but expect some pentium 3s in the winter. 256-512 MB, 733 - 800 MHz
What are your future goals? What do you most want to accomplish with your life?
Not sure...
If there is something you want to tell the team, then spill your guts! What have I missed in my questions that could help the team learn more about you and who you are?
Those would probobly have to be my mods. I will make a list of some of those after I get my webserver back online. Here are a few on photobucket...
Nice to meet you Ben, cool mods! How did you like the oil cooled computer? Did you use vegetable oil?
The briefcase computer is sick, can't wait to see your PM G3 mod. Fold on!
Wow guys, thanks for the support! Oil cooling was good on me The foam is used (properly) to insulate. it comes out of the can and then expands and sticks. The computer got cooled good because I carved air tunnels in the foam thus cooling the CPU extra good and dampening fan and hard drive noise. The briefcase was 50 cents at a yardsale. A quick mod but a goodie and the mac is still in the works.
FOLD ON!!!
Near Brattleboro-Townshend/Harmonyville area. My wife's parents live there. No broadband-wireless or even cellular service there...
