1 drive is DOA, it just clicks on startup really badly. Other 7 drives are testing:

Once they do a few rounds, I'll throw them in a sliced RAID0 for the heck of it.

Correct, here is the one I'm using at the moment. I used a Zalman heatsink on the main Intel chip and moved the heatsink that was there to the other chip that gets hot. Runs pretty cool.

Is it just me or is that mount pulling away from the board? The mount betwixt the two heatsinks on the bottom photo.
