Just got my new Xmas toy setup and I am having a problem , that I hope my friends here can help with .

I am having problems Setting my rez to 1080p

Only options that are not greyed out are HDMI Auto and 480 P

This is what I see

Other than it is stuck in 480p every thing looks great menus are quick . I could not get DHCP to work but I set the Ips and it has worked fine after that .

I have Tested Flac files , MP3 , 700mb rips AVI , Vids from my Cannon sd1100 and my Sony Digi cam corder and a 720p MKV file all have worked fine . The MKV file buffered for 9 seconds then ran fine . I could advance with FF no problem .

Now I just need a 640 meg 2.5inch drive and get the Rez problem fixed and I will be totaly happy with it ( i can now game while the GF is watching a movie )

Ok so Today I worked with it a bit more .
I have used the Composite Cables VS the HDMI and I am getting all the other options now .
1080p still looks fine over RCA cables So I might just leave it for that till a firmware update fixs the problem .

One other I have noticed if I turn the box off I have to re-save my login info . Im going to go out and pick up a usb drive ( mine died a few months ago ) and Flash to a Beta Firmware and see if it fixes the problem . Im really enjoying this machine temped to do a write up on it .

Best part is I can still game when the GF is watching movies.
