Wordpress ignoraimus, need some guidance

Looks like I will be doing a case review for OCF. Problem is I have never even heard of word press until a couple days ago. I googled and downloaded the wordpress file but it does not have a exe. so I am kinda confused.

No need to download anything. Just PM one of the Lead Editors to create you a WordPress account, once that's done you'll sign in here to start writing your draft.

And another thing you can do is to start your draft in Word, then import it into Wordpress. They have a special button to migrate your Word draft into Wordpress in the toolbox. I've done a few reviews like that.

Welp, so far no pass from IMOG or mdcomp. I asked on googletalk and IMOG said he would make me one after I have written the article?

Not sure where you are getting confused in the process. When publishing to the front page, you don't need to download anything. Wordpress is installed on the iNet server, just write the article using some other form of word processing software or even notepad if you really want. I'm sure that eventually they'll give you a login to the front page so that you can write your draft directly to that but you'll just have to do without that until they can get you added.

Well I do not know if it will help or is even appropriate but for writing code (yuck) I use notepad++: http://notepad-plus-plus.org/

I save things like text and WP HTML copies to Word though.
