Slimline computer video card help.

I'm looking to upgrade my AX1420G-U5832 video card. Currently its using an nvidia 6150. The chipset is a nvidia 430. My power supply is a bit low at 220 but I am also looking to upgrade that as well.

Does anyone have any suggestions for cards that would be go well with this PC? Here are a couple I've been looking at that I'm interested in-

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121397
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814161374

I feel like the first card will suit my PC very well, but I would like to hear what you guys think before I make any purchases.

Thank you for your time.

My mother's GT520 gets 30 FPS on WoW just below maxed settings - what were you looking to do on your computer?

Also, I'd recommend the Corsair 430W Builder Series PSU if you needed a small one.

Mostly looking to run games at decent settings for the next couple years. I play a lot of starcraft 2 and plan on buying guild wars 2/diablo 3 when they are released. I'm not looking for anything crazy like to max out settings but just want something that will get me pretty good decent fps for the next couple years. And also one that doesn't overheat my power supply.

I don't think I can use the 430w builder series because they are not made for slimline computers (makes finding a PSU for my computer a little tricky)

Ohhh, I didn't even think of that. I can't really help you on that, then, sorry!

Blizzard website lists this as the video requirement for DIII:

NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT or ATI Radeon X1950 Pro or better

I don't know how that stacks up to the cards you listed, but I imagine the GT520 will be enough for SC2 on lowest.

I'm not a big graphics guy, so being able to run high end games on medium settings with pretty good frame rates will be perfect for me.

if you wanna play these games, you need a mid line GPU like gts450, 6770, gt545, i suggest the minimum would be a 6670 for these games... also, as long as you have a decent dual core cpu, that would do the job.

Looked it up and it seems a bit more expensive than the other cards I had listed.

Is this card really worth the extra 50 dollars compared to a GT 520 or Raedon 6570?

I am on a little bit of a tight budget as well.

I was talking about resolution of your screen ie: 1920x1080. Not your gaming settings.

To quote benchmarks from Passmark (not sure how accurate it is), the 6670 gets a score of 1,200. The GT520 gets a score of only 350. For comparison, my Radeon HD 4890 (which can max games like League of Legends with no trouble) rates at just under 2,000.

Again, I don't know how accurate the Passmark benchmark is, and I can't figure out how to pull it up on a benchmark that shows actual times and numbers (such as the anandtech one).
