Post count?

I have noticed my post count stop climbing. I hit Total Posts 84 earlier and I just posted maybe 5 or 6 posts and no climb. Is it not updated instantly? Or does it go by threads you have started or what?

I think posts in GD don't count toward total posts.

Posts in discussion forums and classified section do not go towards post count. Thread crapping in regular forums to increase post count in frowned on too.
