Any ETA of when they'll be released. I'm dying to play with some DDR3 2600-2800

Where are the 4gb kits? Would it be easier for them to tighten timings with a 4gb kit?

I don't think so. Most new kits in 8 and 16GB are overclocking the same and most depends from IMC.
Only new 4GB ( 2x2GB ) that I saw are Crucials but 4, 8 and 16GB kits have almost the same results.
These 2600+ kits ( so far G.Skill, Team or Geil from these available) have or Samsung Or Hynix IC that is clocking high but on poor timings ( CL10+ ) ... but it seems like above some clocks, timings aren't so important even for benching ...

btw thanks ihog6hog for showing IC
