Tale of a Hero

Slowly our hero-to-be leaned forward a bit in his Lay-Z-Boy recliner for his sip of coke - or was it beer? "Where was the remote at?" He'd long since forgotten. His fat fingers slowly engulfed the glass, and moved it in to his turgid lips. How long had it been since he'd actually got up and did something, he wondered? He chuckled at the thought that he was a human potted plant, just lacking chlorophyll.

"What's this post about?"

"A post about a race?"

"Wait... a race for medical research, a charity?"

"A chance to *do* something good? Hmmm... "

The post read:

What: 10 day team folding race to benefit Folding@Home

Where: Your computer runs the program, from your home or business (he liked this!) The setup on the new V7 client is far easier than ever before. (he liked this, too!)

When: May 15th through May 25th (Noon to Noon)

Who: Everyone is invited. ("Sweet" he thought). Eight teams will be racing.

4444 Our Team Racing Name is: T32monkeys
4444 Our team number is: 32
4444 Our public passkey is: 3311d92fd7ee331bd66dfe6eea01708b

How: Directions and more info here:

He knew he wouldn't get a better offer than this. Finding his mouse, he made the clicks needed, entered the name and passkey, making sure it was correct even with the case of the letters - and now he was saving the world!

And his glass was empty -- "time for another" he thought, with a satisfied smile.

It's the Great Chimp Challenge team folding race for Folding@Home, May 15th - May 25th! Be there, or look up "turgid". You don't want to be that guy -- come race with us instead!

Count me in!
Installed, signed up, and ready to go!

You might wanna mention, when installing, enter the number 32 as the team, because it won't accept T32Monkeys...numbers only.
The key is simply copy and paste from the linked page ahead.

Now I have to make and install a GPU waterblock and learn how to OC it before the event!

Put my system back together, now it's all yours for the next 10 days (I'll surf on my laptop). It's pretty unusable for anything else while folding is running.

Question:
I have two projects running. I take it that the GPU is running one because it will not idle to 50 mhtz as it usually does, it's pegged at the max. I thought a dual core would handle two projects on it's own though?
I don't mind if it doesn't, but I don't want to contribute half-way, ya know?
