Anyone having page loading issues today?

It has been reported that page loads are slow/timeout for some people. I wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing this or if things are running smooth. Let me know how things are running for you guys as it is OK for me.

I haven't seen any timeouts, but the site was running sluggish earlier today after noon (CST).

Check, problems here @ work and home.

Slow loads. It goes fine once the site decides to respond, but it's taking a while to decide it wants to talk to me.

Problems here... slow loads and prior to that, all the neat images you loaded werent there, quote, quote+, and thanks tags were borked (fixed now) but loading slow is the symptom I see now.

Loading issues can also depend on what path inside the datacenter it takes (multiple internal network routes lead home) as well as which server it ends up hitting (multiple web frontends and DB backends).

I don't know how that health report tests things, but if its only hitting the good paths/servers, it may not identify a site health problem.

The hiccup seems to have passed now after about 30min and it's loading much faster. Maybe one of the hops decided it needed to restart itself.

The link I provided is simply connections between providers, not against a single website. We use this at work to determine if a group of users having connection issues are related (same ISP or region). It is a very useful tool if you know how to read it.

For the past 5 minutes I've had page loading problems, connection timeout, etc... This is the only time I've had issues recently.

I just had one.

I typed ocforums.com though and got right in. Link in email to new private message did not work. Guessed it was a DNS caching issue.

Yeah Liquid Web had a brief outage today. Both my cloud and WHT / OC forums weren't loading. Seems all good now though.

Thanks for the input. Still getting a sense for whats up.

A DC outage isn't what we're experiencing lately. At times a few people report problems accessing the site, while its fine for everyone else, and none of our monitoring is alarmed... So far, I haven't been able to reproduce it at all, despite receiving IMs about the site being inaccessible while it loaded fine for me.

Dunno, but I'm beginning to think this is not a problem at liquidweb that we're seeing - typically those problems trip our monitoring, and they usually affect everyone.
