Modding a Coolermaster HAF X 942 front I/O panel to a Cooler master HAF 922

Is there a way to mod a Coolermaster HAF X 942 front I/O panel onto a Cooler Master HAF 922?

The front I/O panels are the same on both case.

It sure does not look like it.
The HAF 922 has a single 200mm fan on top and only the front piece of the I/O clips on.
The HAF 942 has 2 200mm fans on top and it's a big clip in single piece where as the 922 has screws in back and only one piece clips off.

They are not the same and if you were looking at both of them and your most likely misunderstanding what i'm saying. Visualize a top down view on the 922 and 942. the 922 has one 200mm fan, and the front I/O assembly snaps off. The fan part is separate and needs unscrewed. The 942 again top down view, is a full assembly with two 200mm fans that snaps in the entire top on the 942 case at which the 922 does not do.Just trying to clear things up lol.

Here is the 942

And the 922

Ah right. I think I understand. as a straight swap. No chance. The 942 is much much larger. With some modding and resizing to the top panel. Anything is possible. Just more than likely, very difficult

Yea, You would probably have to remold an entirely new top panel using the one from the 942 as a reference, It would be long and probably cost a fair few $$ if you dont have the correct equipment to hand.
