I'm not testing storage products as often as RAM but I thought I will make similar thread to my memory list. I just thought that maybe someone will find here something interesting as there is not many flash drive and cards reviews around the web. SSD are much more popular.

List will be longer in time. I will try to keep it updated with the latest tests and reviews.

Feel free to comment, ask questions etc. I'm also open to any suggestions :)

This is a great idea, I would suggest putting a couple of the Samsung SSDs on the list as they are quite popular.

This is actually list of tests and reviews that I am writing.
I have 120GB Samsung 840 Pro but I think all already know results on these SSD so I won't make review/forum thread about it.
Maybe I will get Samsung 850/Pro. For sure getting samples from Samsung isn't easy ( they ignored couple of my mails ) and I just can't afford to buy everything myself ( some know how much I am earning and no one is paying me for reviews ).

In couple of days should be ready Lexar P10 64GB flash drive review. For now I can only say that results are really good.

Very nice! Shoot if I had a second 120+gb Evo I would send it your way to review. And sure most people do know how the 840 pros perform but what about those who are new and have not gotten their feet wet yet?

I mean 840 series are already "old" and there is a lot of reviews and tests in the web so even those who are starting with SSD can find info really quick. I'd rather pick something less popular and new to help other forum members.
Try to find any flash drive reviews. All are or roundups with mixed 10-20 old and new models or have general info without test results. Most websites don't care to test flash drives at all.

Not to mention it takes some time and ( regardless of you see on the forums ) I have limited time.
I also like to support manufacturers who actually reply for my mails even if they won't send me samples but give some good reasons. Samsung simply ignored all my mails.

Hopefully as with everyone your time is precious and your reasons are completely understandable. As for roundups are generally pointless unless to point out how bad older ssds are and that shouldn't be necessary. As for the testing, I honestly wouldn't know how to properly test them, just that random read/writes are more prevalent to real world use. Anyhow as another suggestion why not OCZ? I'm sure they would like to try and help out their image after falling off the face of the planet for quite some time.(possibly a good source for samples :p). Regardless keep up the great work!

Lexar JumpDrive P10 64GB USB 3.0 flash drive review has been added to the list - link

There is also a chance on a Lexar JumpDrive M10 32GB flash drive review and a fast micro SD card review in the following weeks.

Added Patriot Stellar Boost XT 64GB OTG flash drive review - link

In next week should be also Kingston FURY 32GB USB 3.0 flash drive review.

I forgot to update this thread so today I've added 3 reviews:
- Kingston HyperX Fury 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive link
- Lexar JumpDrive M10 Secure 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive link
- Lexar High Performance 32GB microSDHC UHS-I card (633x) -link

As usual there is delay with updates in this thread but here it goes:
- Toshiba 1TB SATA 3.0 SSHD review - link
- Lexar JumpDrive M20 Mobile 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive review - link

Also on the way is couple of interesting storage devices which should be reviewed within' a 2-3 weeks.
- Toshiba Exceria 64GB micro SDXC UHS-I card - 95/60MB/s
- Toshiba TransMemory 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive - 222/205 MB/s
- Lexar Professional Workflow DD512 - 512GB USB 3.0 SSD - 450/245MB/s
- Patriot Blaze 240GB SSD - 555/535MB/s

Kingston PCIe SSD and Higher Patriot SSD line should be available in 1-2 months.

I hope someone finds this thread helpful especially that barely any website is publishing flash drive and SD cards reviews.

Nice job so far Woomack. Both your memory thread and this flash drive thread are very resourceful.
Truly are a valuable member :)

Thanks, it's good to know it's helpful :)

Right now I'm testing Patriot Blaze 240GB. New lower series SSD but so far looks good. PCMark8 in mixed tests is about as good as on Crucial MX100 or Kingston Fury. I saw comments it's slow in random operations but there is over 34MB/s 4k read which is one of the better results I saw. Deeper queue isn't best but it's not so important on desktops.

Sweet :D

SSD is the final piece of the puzzle for my daily driver.
Nothing super duper fancy/fast, I don't need that :p

Added:
- Crucial MX200 500GB M.2 SSD review - well performing SSD in M.2/SATA version
- Lexar Professional 64GB SDXC card review - SDXC card but specified to work up to 300MB/s ... and it really works so fast ( included USB 3.0 card reader )

Added Lexar JumpDrive M20c 32GB review to the list - C Type USB 3.0 flash drive.

There are 2 older reviews which I forgot to add ( I was wondering why there is a break since April :p ):
- HyperX Savage 240GB SSD
- Lexar P20 64GB USB 3.0 flash drive

Soon should be review of Lexar CFast 128GB card - 500MB/s+ card, I hope that my motherboards have good enough USB 3.0 controllers to see that bandwidth :)
