Hey i just got a Asus dual channel motherboard, do i have to run dual channel memory, or can i jus do the old fasioned ddr way?

Thanks,
Adam

you should be able to run it the "old" way. I did in my nf7-s which is also dual channel. Just put it in dimm 3.

yes you can run it in non dual channel mode, i think you can change it in the bios

You don't have to set anything in the bios. If there's 2 modules in the right slots (1&3 or 2&4) it will automatically run dual channel. If you put them in 1&2 or 3&4, then it runs the old fashioned way. If you only use one module in any slot, same thing.
