Team Banner Titles

Latest feature is banner titles, the changes are still applying as I speak - everyone on folding, benching, or seti with DEFAULT USER TITLES now has the banner, which links to a thread or an article for the team. People with custom titles - you must be updated manually.

Let me know what you think... And thank you splat for making the graphics for us!

Post up here if you want the banners, but you don't have them! (you have a custom title, and it has to be set for you manually)

EDIT 6/1/10: Rosetta now has access to the banner also, See my post below for instructions to get the banner applied above your avatar!

heads up for teams, moving this around for redirects in team subforums

To get the banner if you don't have it, go to usercp>networking on the left sidebar>group membership>select the group you want to be a member of>click join group>select to be identified as a member of that group>click update display group

If you still don't have the banner displayed, and you are part of a team, post here and report which teams you are on. Thank you!

These banners look great! Excellent job on the graphics splat!

I think this is a really nice way to reward our team members and maybe recruit some fresh blood at the same time.

You are all set jhanby, and bump for the rosetta team now also having access - they've been added as a public joinable group! Go here to join the rosetta team and get your banner (see post 2) if you don't get the banner after following instructions!

Slightly off topic:

Thanks for updating the stars! The new colors are more catchy

You are welcome - its really easy to do stuff like that and these banners when we have splat churning out high quality stuff and all I have to do is ask him.

We also took the opportunity to reclassify our older, inactive, or vacationing mods and admins:
http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showgroups.php?

While everyone still has the same rights and abilities, we now have a list which actually reflects who is actively moderating and who is inactive/retired/on vacation. Regular mods and admins appear the same, those who are inactive or taking a break have darker shades of red and green in their stars and username.
