I don't know much about Bios updates so I cant risk changing something manually since this is my first time flashing GPU BIOS, I have flashed Motherboard Bios loads before. I looked for the modded Bios for Gigabyte GTX 670 OC but i could not find

There's a great guide out there for the app and flashing gpu bios is easier than a mobo and reversible if something goes wrong. It's the only way you're going to get 1.21v otherwise afterburner's 1.175 will have to do.

Thanks to everyone that helped me with this!

OK I have found a modded Bios version last night for my Gigabyte gtx 670 OC. I didn't get to test it much but i did test for like 30mins and so far I can confirm that the 2.1 volts works now! which gives me a +78MHz on the boost clock. before max boost clock was 1124MHz but now with the modded Bios I get 1202MHz. I am very happy with the results but there are some issues, nothing wrong with the stability so far though!

the problem is the base core clock has changed from 980MHz to 915MHz????
and another stupid issue is that GPU-Z shows my core base clock 1202MHz but this is actually my boost clock now?????

I have not touched any settings and this is what GPU-Z shows and I also tested in real time, my core clocks actually runs at 915MHz now instead of 980MHz
please someone give a answer that will make me feel better about this.

Unless you have a very open ended power % slider, more voltage is unlikely to help much.

I dont have what you are talking about but the Modded Bios for my GPU actually worked and I did get better performance out of my card, which I have stated above.

I am still testing to see if it is fully stable with everything. for about half an hour I have been overclocking and I see improvements already before my max stable overclock was 1244MHz Boost and now with the new Bios I managed to pass 1300MHz, before with with the original Bios I could not reach that high.

I have only 2 issues so far, which are the default base clock the GPU-Z shows 915 which it supposed to be 980 and the GPU clock actually shows my boost clock 1202 now

which BIOS are you using? Seems to have been rather successful, would like to give it a go
