I got it next day by the way.

They are 8x DVD+R. I'm giving it to a customer for free with a new computer build. They shouldn't complain if it's free.

I've been using these Staples DVDs since I got my DVD burner. If you mod your firmware, these can burn reliably (at least for me) at 12x. I went to Staples this past Sunday and picked up 4 more spindles at this cost. Damn good discs; I have only had one coaster out of 100 discs, and that's because I tried to overburn it--they don't like overburning at all.

ive got through 49 +'s so far and not 1 coaster/dremel disc using a nec-3540a
(yes, i have 1 left - got 50 verbatim 16x's as backup)

HHHmmmmpf. Just got mine, looks like UPS had a football game with it,spindle is broken along with some chipped disks Time to call customer support

That's UPS for ya... if they didn't play football, maybe they did what Ace Ventura did in the beginning of Pet Detective, play soccer.

anyone used dvd-info to see who makes those disks? i'm curious as to what the media identifier is.
