im new to this and nobody is giving me an answer how do you over clock video cards

Well we need to know what video card you have first, but if you have a pretty common question usually its a good idea to check the sticky threads.... here is one in this section that pretty much goes over all the cards, and utilities to download to OC your card and more.

use atitool (ati cards only) or powerstrip u can find pstrip at www.download.com

I have used both .I currently use riva tuner to push my anemic270/400pny5500 to a slightly stouter 340/500.I used rage3d on my last ati card and was pleased with it's performance.Good luck

If you have a nVidia card just use coolbits.

Stang that thread you posted was 3 years old some of those sites didnt have programs made after 2000.
