I accidentally hit my laptop LCD monitor, which caused a number of stuck pixels on it. I tried rubbing, tapping, heating and putting a piece of ice on it but it even made things worse.
Half a year ago I had the same problem. There was a spot with a couple of black pixels on the monitor. First, I thought those were dead pixels but they turned out to be stuck pixels. I put my laptop out in my balcony every winter night and they gradually turned red, green, yellow and finally disappeared.
But since now it's summer it doesn't seem to work at all. I can't wait until winter because they're so annoying!
So I'm wondering if there's any other way to get it fixed. Help would be really appreciated!

Pretty sure that's the ink leaking out of the screen, not stuck pixels.

Those are stuck, that's for sure because if i keep my laptop turned off for around 5 days some of them disappear. Moreover, the lines I've purposely drawn are perfectly seen behind them.

There are applications that are supposed to get stuck pixels out...
I've tried. Such apps seem to have made it even worse.

Well, it's not looking very good. I guess you could hit it again if you wanted. You know... accidentally.

I let my kids whack some of the old lcd monitors I get as ewaste - they like making lines with the big mallet.

it's not hard to replace most screens - time consuming but not terrible
