So, out of boredom I decided to "overclock" the pixels however the monitor doesn't want to I get a message along the lines of "The current timing is not supported."

It isnt the end of the world if i cannot but it sure would be fun. Anyone know how to override this?

"Overclocking" the pixel clock will do you no good, and there's no way to "override" it. A better explanation as to why would involve diving into DVI/HDMI signal specifications, which is not a particularly easy or quick task.

In essence though, the standard for DVI/HDMI video is set to use a specific clock rate for various modes/applications, and deviating from this (either lower or higher speeds) will cause timing errors.

In case anyone's interested, here's a link to the spec.
