I deleted my wd 500g hd to make room to backup my raid0 setup w/2 256g
plextor drives.Did the backup then next day at bootup I noticed in bios error
occurred on one of the plextor ssd's.no longer is the raid0 listed in bios.Win7
shows the C drive having disk vol as both drives were still connected to each other.Computer boots fine no other problems.I use to have a plextor program
that would run if I had a drive error and I could just click on fix and all was well
but this disappeared,unless this was a intel contoller program,I don't know.
anyway I need help to get my bios seeing the raid0 setup again.Oh and yes
the bios setting for the plex drives is set to raid.

Mb asus max extreme iv
intel 2600k
using intel controller

If you did RAID through the motherboard, check the configuration of the controller to see what it says. It should say if the array is degraded or if a disk is missing.

On board RAID is finicky.

thank's for the info but I found the fix, needed to download the intel rapid storage technology driver,it has the software for fixing all drives installed so I was able to fix
the ssd drive error that was shown on posting.This was the software that was lost somehow but I am good now.
