Silver is known to have anti-bio effects when mixed with water.
IE keeping a piece of silver in water would prevenr it from going bad for a long long time. Supposedly it stops growth of bacteria etc.

So if one was to use pure watter in the wc setup, then a single piece of silver-coated smthng (say some cheap decoration from walmart jewel. dep.) would be sufficient to prevent bio clogging of the system.

Thoughts?

all metals in large quantity are deadly. Lead and mercury are know to be particularly vicious. However, I would just go with anti-freeze or water wetter, since having two different metals in the same water system leads to one of the rusting away on you.

not to mention water wetter helps git rid of those annoying tiny tiny bubbles really quick

its kind of like the catalyst in a car, or like what boats use to stop the hull being well, screwed up, if you could dump a wad of silver in a reserviour it would do the same thing, but i dont think a tiny peice would be enough.

Cheers, Turando
