Bios updating ????

Hey the asus a7v 333 has this option where u can update the bios in windows i was this close .. to updating in windows but iwant opinions should i ? im getting the 2300+ soon so i have to update to 1007 or 1008

If you're asking about flashing your BIOS w/ AsusUpdate, well, there are two schools of thought on that. Some people (like me) have never had a problem w/ it. I figure, if the flasher encounters a problem, I'm still in Windows, and can d/l another flash image.

Some people prefer flashing in DOS mode. That's ok too, I just prefer Windows.

There's really no harm in flashing in Windows.
