My router was recently having problems connecting to the internet. The connection would slowly degrade. After contacting comcast they informed me that I should upgrade my firmware... Fair enough. So I went to linksys.com and downloaded the newest firmware for my router.

Rev 2.

Now after updating and restarting the router I just have a frantically blinking power LED. I can't see the router from the physical lan lines nor the wireless connection. It's just not visible.

How can I TFTP a new firmware to the router if I can't see it?

Thanks for any help you can give.

I believe a blinking power LED means that something is wrong with the router's hardware. My friends linksys switch had the same blinking power LED and linksys tech support basically told him it was shot. I'd call up linksys and see what they tell you.
