Well, never heard back from the laser cutters however i may have a lead on a foaf who may be able to help me.
Secondly its SLI i go. Managed to pick up a second GTX 470 with block for £100, now im stuck at what to do with the extra power, I really like the 2d surround setups but as im back on my 22" 1680x1050 then im going to have to get 3 24" 1080 screens and i just dont have the cash for that yet. I was hoping to get 1 24" and flank it with 2x 19" screens but looking at forums (after i bought the card) it seems that this may be rather more difficult than i imagined due to polarisation synching which until now id never heard of, looks like my safest option will be to buy 3x identical monitors and given i want s 24" 1080 then i need 3 of em...... Might take a while to get them!

The Card arrived, quick drain, moved the radiator below the case to squeeze it in and a PITA to get it tubed cleanly with the fittings i had to hand to get it fired up.
Now the problems, im running a CF board with SLI. I have switched on Hyper SLI to enable SLI on a non SLI board, its detected as SLI and appeard to be working but on my 1st vantage run, i got the same speeds as my old speeds.
The cpu isnt overclocked, i set all the control panel to max, including vsynch and the ram is running at defaults. So, tonight will be a benching session. hopefully i can hit P8000 which i know others have with a q6600 and sli 470`s. noy quite the 13,000 that i would get running it on a core i5..... next buy me thinks

Wired up and benching done, 29800 on vantage at 825, really want to get 30000 but it keeps switching off (psu is under powered at 110% load) as ive had to really push EVERYTHING to the max, cards at 835, cpu at 4.06 ghz so i know it will get 30K so im happy.
Turns out the HyperSLI did in fact convert my CrossFire Board into a fully fledged SLI board without (as far as i can see) any performance hit!

Just awaiting a second pump/res to arrive before i test out dual loop
Its a eheim 600. I have also picked up a NB/SB block so hiopefully ill be able to fit them and run the nb/sb/cpu on the top 240 & the 2x GTX470`s on the 360. Does this sound about even?? what would other recommend for splitting the loops??

Also bought a Saitec EVO so im looking forward to some flying soon

So I recieved the pump, long story but its not been fitted and never will.
On the plus side, I have a new keyboard & 120GB Force GT SSD. unfortunatley im using a sata 3 drive on Sata 2 so im only getting 275mb out of 550mb.
Its quick, but!!.... i dont know what i expected but im a little dissapointed, yes it loads things quicker, i still have to wait, just not as long.
Ill be honest, for me im glad its one of the last things i bought and would say to anyone its a massive luxury, not a necessity, you CAN do EVERTHING the same as a normal drive, it loads quicker and its silent but should be one of the last things to factor in, until they drop in money

Tried 8GB of ddr2 800 vs 4gb 1066 and while WEI bumped up a few points, vantage & 3d11 made absoloutly no difference, so ive decided that unless im going to push it much past 4gb then 8gb of slower ram is worse than 4gb of faster ram.
Ive in the market for a new platform now (i5-2500k & micro SLI) so i know ill only need to get 8GB of ddr3, 4 is fine but 8gb will allow me to disable the page file and save the SSD

I managed to get some more benchmarking 3d mark 11 will let me get to P7550 but i have to be carefull with power as if i push the CPU too far it drains that much power that the machine reboots, in essence a GOOD 680W psu (mines says peak @750W) IS enough to run a overclocked CPU, and 2 GTX 470s Overclocked, but sadly not enough power to run all 3 at torture test limits (4.05ghz - 1.5675v & 2 maxxed out GPU`s) so while i can just get 7550, thats was at 3.85Ghz - 1.5275v & all extras unplugged, I suspect if i could get to 4.0 Ghz ill be able to get about 7600. But for gaming, im happy with dropping it down a bit and happy over 7500

My old score with 1 card @ 830Mhz was P5220
New score on 2 cards @815 + @915 is P7550 - Still majorly CPU Bottlenecked
