Do I need another rad?

Currently I like my temps, idle of about 30c at 4.4/5GHZ on 4770k... I am replacing the bitfenix spectre pros on the rad with a push pull and using noiseblockers soon, so that may or may not make a difference...

Anyways, I just got a new 780 GTX and my 660 is out the window. I would like to cool it, and add it into the loop with the Heatkiller block, is my 120x2 rad good enough for the 4770 and the 780? Or do I need more heatspace? I am using a HAFX and I can't really fit an additional rad in unless I potentially add in the slim version 140 of alphacool's nexxxos... Just looking for some input. I would really like to add a block to the 780. Some real heat floats off of that thing!

First, idle temps do not matter... What are your load temps? Next, you will need more rad, another 2x120.

You definately need more radiator with the added GTX 780 card.

Outside the case hanging off the rear maybe

Yea, I like that... And I just found this to use : http://www.frozencpu.com/products/9...nting_Bracket_w_Quick-Release_BKT-HX001P.html

Going to add a monsta 360. :D

Question is... will I need another pump? And now I need another fan controller right since the 6 I have are already occupied by my controller?

What about length to get the fans from the outside to the inside front for the controller? I don't think they will be long enough...

this is a cheaper option

You should be fine with a single pump and a 240 + 360. I have been for years.

Awesome, thanks Jay!

Put in my order just now, got the monsta 360 coming, with the swiftech mount for external use. Going to just use my single MCP-655 and also got the heatkiller block for my 780....

The external rad will have noiseblockers, and my internal will remain how it is now so I don't have to remove it and change it all around... Since now it is ok anyway...

Can't wait to get everything in!!!

that koolance mount is what i use to hang a phobya 4x120 off the back of one of mine, but check the price around a little, I paid a little over $40 for mine at xoxide a little while back.

found a link, http://www.xoxide.com/koolance-radiator-mountingbracket.html

Thanks :D , however I am going to go with the swiftech one.. I did some research and both seem to work great, but the swiftech one looks to work well and is cheaper...

Also, I drew a schematic for my future plans this week when I receive my order...

Does this look to be ok for my plumbing idea?

Unless the swiftech one is bad, I will cancel and order the koolance instead and spend the extra 20$, either way...
