A paper example is all they can do, the plant is having problems with the new wafers. Production has stopped and is being re-done. At least this is a rumor I have heard.

Hmm yah saw his name castigated a bit, did not know anything about the g92 thing.

Tried finding the "original Japanese" that everyone is talking about, but all I can find is 5800 info. And digitimes said GT300 slated for end of December at the earliest, thats almost 3 week old info though.

Inflated pre-order++, they want $400 for a Radeon 4890 for example.

That's one of those Falcon/Alienware/whatever overpriced boutique joints. See http://www.gamepc.com/shop/custom.asp for their other junk. Almost $400 for an i7 920, $600 for a GTX 285, etc.

Wow $600+ dollars, how do they get people to pay these prices? I'm surprised they're still in business with this economy. Anywho I think I'm a start fixin xbox 360's again, sell mine, and my 9800 GTX to get one of these bad boys. I should see a nice increase in my games, and be able to play crysis in 1900*1080 finally :) They seem to be power friendly as well. They consume the same power as my current card

i'm gonna empty my bank acct on one of these cards -_-. would i see huge gains (double fps etc?) if i replace my 4850. i am only running at 1680x1050.

lol yeah for sure, if just 1 is kicking my 295's *ss.

Wich has made it to RMA

Edit:

Well they said its ok to rma, but it seems to be working again

Is $300 for the 5850 what we're expecting for the US? Not sure if the Philippines has price inflating taxes.

Yeah, the estimated MSRP in the US per rumors are $299 for the 5850 1GB, and $399 for the 5870 1GB at the moment. So, it sounds about right.

Is it just me or do i only see stuff about the 4850s and such on that site?

I bet we can max out crisis with these new cards. Cant wait for the 5890 x4 and get 2 of them in crossfire
