Does it make sense to set a 40mm Globalwin cooler onto the passive heatsink of the i850 northbridge??

My system temps went up to 39 today. Normal idle is 30-32 and load is 36-39 (depends on room temp).

How many degrees could I gain with a little fan on it?

And how do I attach the fan without damage the passive cooler??

Thank you!!

Yes, I know, but then I have to remove the Abit heatsink. And I don't think that the mounting system is compatible with the board. I could get a 40mm Globalwin for 5 bucks and I want to attach that to the heatsink.

But how? And what do I gain??
