Ariston Ares joystick

I have this joystick made by Ariston. The cd is scratched bad and windows says the cd is damaged or corrupted. This is also a discontinued product and their website does not work either. I would really like this to work because it looks as good as a Microsoft Sidewinder. I tried using windows to add a joystick but I do not know which one to choose. This joystick has 9 buttons total: 4 on the base and 5 on the stick itself. So does that mean it is a 5 button stick? Also, it has 2 throttle like scroll buttons. And, I don't know if I should choose POV. Thanks for any help.
