XFX 260x issues

I just upgraded from my nvida card my old PNY 550 TI to the XFX 260x 2gb GDDR5 card. I am having issues the computer will randomly reboot and when i tab out of a game it will reboot. here are my specs


AMD A10-6800k(APU disabled due to video card)
8GB(2x4GB) DDR3 2100
MSI A78M-E45
RocketFish 700Watt PSU(modular)
Windows 8.1 up to date on updates

any help would be appricated.
 
yes i have gone through three sets the ones on the CD, the newest drivers and the beta drivers and still no go. this didnt start happening until i installed the new video card.

The thread , located here http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=747609 has a little info. There seems to be an ongoing issue with AMD's R series cards.

Update I dropped my max speed for my card's memory to 1500 MHz and so far I haven't had any graphics issues for about 12 hours. Instead I've been crashing it playing with my CPU clock. My fingers are crossed , though. Would be nice if it were that easy.

Crap! I posted in the wrong thread! That's why I couldn't mark it solved! Apologies for the threadjack to the OP. I'll slink out of here now and go fix my own thread. How to feel like an idiot in one easy step.

That card is broken man. If its under warranty, it needs to be returned. Don't accept it less than what it should be.

I think its in thread tools, "Mark as Solved".
