I dont think you need to remove it as it seems as though yours is making good contact judging by your results so far!
 
I didn't save the picture but it does about 2660Mhz fully stable on both core yesterday :)

I will post more pictures soon.

I was thinking about the 4400+ for my next upgrade but after seeing your results..............I'm not so sure. Screw the extra 512 cahce I guess.

on the other side of the pond try alternate..

Hi I just bought one ( will get it next week). In alternate they bought 50. Before starting selling them today, they had 35 in preorder...

Any experiences with BIOS ?¿.. specially MSI Neo2

I don't think MSI Neo2 have any bios to support X2 right now.
