First of all I'm just about ready to pull the trigger on a new computer and I was just wondering what 600W PS would be best for my system.

CPU: 3800 X2 (TOLEDO)
MB: DFI LANparty SLI-DR ExperT
Video Cards: 2 x 6800 Ultra overclocked
RAM: OCZ 2x 1GB 3200PC Plat.
HD: Hitachi Deskstar 160GB 7200RPM
CD/DVD: 2 Toshiba DVD-RW

I was thinking either

OCZ 600W

Seasonic 600W

Is there any truth to the Seasonic-DFI non-compatibility?

probably somewhere around $200

The 4 I keep hearing are OCZ 600W, the OCZpowerstream 520W, PC Power & Cooling 510W, and the Seasonic 600W.

My only problem with any of these PSU's is I had heard that Seasonic and DFI boards are incompatible.

here is a link of the problem on DFI board

Don't get the OCZ Powerstream 600w, the 520w is a better power supply.

out of all those, I would go with the Powerstream 520w or the PC P&C 510.

I personally have the S12-600 and it runs very quietly and smooth. I would either get it or the PCP&C

I'd say the PCP&C 510. It's one of the most rock stable PSUs. Plus since it peaks out at 600W, I'd say that should be fine for your system.

If you haven't ordered your system yet, may I make a recommendation on the video cards?

I'd say a single 7800GTX will probably outperform the 6800GT Ultras in SLI, even if it doesn't outperform the Ultras, I'd say it'll at least be on par with it. Plus the single GTX would be much cheaper then the Ultras. Also you'd be able to add the second GTX if needed in the future.
