Whenever i play a game on my 60 gb hdd, the hdd makes a sound like it is shutting on and off, then everything freezes and i have to restart. All power connections and cables are secured in correctly, and the diagnostics tests at western digital don't find any problems with the hdd. My temps are never higher than the mid 40's so i know that heat is not the problem. Any ideas?

AHAHAHAHAH i love the google thing in your sig....but i have no answer to your problem, sorry :-/

is it only games that are causing this? how are your PSU voltages?

I had an issue once, turned out to be a bad molex, try another molex connector. Also, make sure you're not using the same chain that you're using to connect to your 9800 Pro to power your hard drive as well. Seen some issues with this setup before.
