WOW, so that's what these are for that I had no idea what they were at first

So do I need to take off the litte thing that holds the CPU down? Do I need to take the CPUs out that i JUST put in to do that?

Yup.
Then remove the four torx screws and the socket retention mechanisms will come off as will the backplates.
DO. NOT. TOUCH. THE. SOCKET. PINS. WITH. ANYTHING.
They will die.
Do not drop a screw on them.
Do not drop anything else on them either.
They're fragile little (*@#%*s, and straightening them is a bit of a nightmare.

Done, I really hope I didn't mess anything up through all of this, I don't think anything is bent, but if it is how will I know? Will the computer not turn on?

Alright imma continue, looks like that fixed it, whew that was stressful.

Okay, sorry for double posting, but...

What is the difference between mobo headers "PWR ON" and "PWR LED" ?

The cable I have for the front button is labeled "Power SW"

Which one do I plug it into?

Power SW probably goes into PWR ON. Check your mobo manual to make sure though. PWR LED is for the light on the power switch, but not the switch itself.

Okay cool... so should the 24 pin mobo power cable snap in or what? I pushed it in as far as possible but the board was bending slightly and scaring the crap outta me...
