So I get around -110dBm to -115dBm Sprint 4g LTE
so I get around 2mbps to 4mbps of download speed on my Sprint 4g LTE
i use my phone for home internet because sadly its the fastest i can get
so i want a boost my 4g signal and im looking at this
http://www.amazon.com/External-Antenna-Adapter-Connector-Samsung/dp/B00EUD7B2I
http://www.amazon.com/Wilson-Electr...onnector/dp/B0002EOFFK/ref=pd_bxgy_cps_text_y

has anyone tried using their phone's External Antenna port?
thoughts? is this the right Antenna to boost Sprints LTE?
also is there a cheaper Antenna Adapter Connector for my galaxy s4?
and the ones for the S2 and S3 are cheaper and look the same, are they?

Does Sprint let you get a home repeater like Verizon does?

I don't know does home repeater do 4g?
I did not know the companies offer stuff like that

sadly that's Wimax and I don't have that "4g" o have 4g LTE

reading the comments for that repeater claims sprint LTE does not work
but sprint LTE is at 1900Mhz
I think im going to try the External Antenna when I get paid next week

Yeah, I'm not familiar enough with Sprint's service to recommend a specific model that isn't branded with Sprint.
Post back if it does/doesn't work for you though, I'm curious now!

so go it in!!
this is what I get (no tweaks I think my antenna needs to be pushed a little to the right or left but its to late tonight to do that (still 2x my download speed)
and put it up

and this is the pig tail that plugs into my L1 external port on my S4 (note R1 is only for 3g and as I only want 4g also i get better speeds with it unplugged)

just a heads up sprint does offer "mini" towers that they wills end you if your getting poor reception but they didn't do much good for a friend of mine, his was LTE.

I wonder if there are more portable options for external antennas.
I get crappy reception at work but I am also in a big metal box, it might help get through some of that

If your in a big metal box perhaps checking into an antenna as well as a repeater .. We had those setup in a huge data center.. No reception unless you were by the window..

the upload is poorer because its not 100% at the tower and this was before tweaks
its much better now

alos you can get Omni antennas but for poor signal at work i would get a repeater
