slightly bent the brackets while replacing screen

you know the bracket hinge metal pieces? yeah, i was a bit too forceful while a screw unbeknownst to me was still in place. is there any chance of bending it back? it seems like it needs to be percise in the g53sw

Do you have a picture? If it won't reassemble, trying to bend it back isn't going to hurt it further.

If you can't get it to fit, check ebay for a replacement part.

I'm not familiar with that laptop. If it has a part number, see if people are selling it under both the g53sx and g53sw numbers. You could also find good pictures and compare them.
