Hello All,

I have the latest version of the alienware 14x (bought october 2013) and I am looking to upgrade it by removing my optical drive (it is no use to me) and replacing it with a 128GB SSD.

I basically need to know exactly how it's done, if it is possible and hopefully a video demonstration to help me along the way. I have tried looking on youtube but the only videos I can find are ones that are replacing the Hard drive with the SSD.

To summarise, I would like to replace my optical drive with an SSD, then I would use this to install windows, and place my most used files on there as well.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Phil
