This is the Official Launch of the "Official OC Seti Team Chat Room"

Looking to meet your fellow crunchers ? Well then grab yourself an IRC Client *If you don't already have one*

mIRC : http://www.mirc.com

Install it and set all your options for nick and whatnot. Set it to connect to a random DALNet Server, do not forget to enable ident. Most if not all DALNet Servers have automatically bans or kicks on non-ident'd clients.

Alright connected to a DALNet Server now? In the status window type in the following /j #ocsetiteam

And that's it, you can also use the /join commmand as well. So stop on in and say howdy and sit back for a spell, get to know your fellow teammates and hopefully meet some soon to be teammates!

::please keep in mind that the Forum Rules and Guidelines Apply there as well as here::

  • NO Porn or the like
  • NO Spamming
  • NO Swearing
  • And of course respect your Fellow man Flaming is not and will not be tolerated! No Exceptions to that rule.

One more last minute addition this Room is to compliment the forums as such it will not be used for hardware based related chat, this is simply a place to come and sit a spell and chat with your Fellow Setimate. Hardware question's will be discouraged as well as directed to the appropriate spot with which to ask them.

I'm making my way in there! Errr.. so long since I've ever even been on a Mobile and dial up! :D Downloading 1meg isn't pretty with dialup while surfing!
 
well epix found a nice little addon to mirc that will let u display your seti stats in mirc and i figured out how to configure it so i will post it here for anyone who wants it :) the atachment is the addon itself i will post under this how to configure it
 
ok first extract the addon into your mirc directory then open it in noatpad and edit the 2 places circled below to say your seti directory then when in mirc type /load -rs seti-c.mrc

EDIT: lol i just looked back at this post and noticed i wasent very specific i ment why cant we use colors on in the chat room on mirc?

oh oops lol i just thought i would ask because last night they werent :) but hey basher y arent u on mirc then hehe i am on there now and i dont see u :p
