Just joined the team need advice..

hey all...just downloaded BOINC! and am all setup hardware wise to start working..
so i will be needing advice on
1.Can i keep on F@H and Boinc side by side?
2.help me allocate my resources so the team gets most out of it..
running a 2500K+7850 combo here...
