###/### overclocking numbers mean ?

Im sorry, but the ###/### clock numbers i see people posting.

#1 what do they stand for and what do they effect.
#2 How can i check mine ?
#3 Is there an overclocking settings tool for your video card to addjust these #"s or the input on these #'s.

GPU core speed/RAM speed. Both in MHz. Can be determined by using a program like radclock or something. I forget the best proggy to use..

350/700 for example means that the gpu core is running at 350MHz and the memory is running at 700MHz.

Also keep in mind that basically all ram speeds are effective and not actual. Look at my signature for example: the memory on my X800 is listed as running 1166mhz. In reality, it's actually running 583mhz, but it's DDR ram so the "effective" speed is double that -- or 1166mhz.

Not that it matters, just more stuff to confuse you
