cloudy tubes?

I have had my loop together since last april. i used distilled water and hydrx additive. i emptied and refilled the system in early may, using pt nuke (a few drops) and distilled water.

i just emptied my system again for the trip back to school and now, when i am going to go refill it, the tubes are white cloudy. the are not the slightest bit transparent. whats the deal? can i still use these tubes?

just clean em out with a coat hanger and a piece of tee shirt, it's normal, a chemical used in the tubing itself

sounds like the problem i had with my clearflex tubing. i used a pipe cleaner and it seemed to have stopped clouding.

Ive only had cloudy tubes once. It turned out the water was over-aireated and had microbubbles. After a few on/off cycles, I managed to collect all of the air in the res, to which I just filled back to the top.

That's one reason to fill the res to the brim or 3/4 full. Am I right to say that?
