Finally it's up.
Napp-it is running alongside some of my VMs on an SSD from the onboard SATA on my board. I then have an IBM M1015 passed through to the Napp-it VM and I created a RaidZ1 pool with 4x 3tb es2 drives.
Now I'm trying to figure out what block sizes are best for VMs, and what's best for multimedia, etc.
I love that I have thin provisioned options and especially DEDUP!!! Dedup is awesome... I use it at work with NetApp.
