It's pwm, so you can use three or four wire fans as you progress, and it only supports two fans, because you don't want to overload the motherboard port. Sleeved is nice too.
I have one that's 12" long, which is really convenient for hiding wires, but newegg doesn't seem to have them available right now.
If you're using high powered fans like Deltas or Sanyos, then the ones you linked would be more appropriate because of the larger fan's power draw....powered by the power supply instead of the motherboard header..(120 x 38mm, high rpm fans are what I'm talking about).
