Why does my DDR say "Channel# single"???

thanks!

I'm aware of that...I'm running 2 identical chips in dimms 1 and 3 (for abit IC7)

Thanks for nothing. Here's a tip: don't assume facts you can't possibly know. It makes you look like an ***.

Sorry musawi, when someone tells me to "read the f***ing manual", I don't consider that help. I guess you do?

I am courteous and respectful to all, so I don't take kindly to flippant insults.

It's possible that this SpecTek memory isn't supported for dual channel configurations: http://www.abit-usa.com/memory/

My buddy has some memory that won't run DC.

hmm... I ReadTFM (;)) and it says NOTE: No hardware or BIOS setup required after adding or removing memory modules.

So I guess it's not a setup issue. Maybe try slots 2 and 4 instead of 1 and 3, but it's probably the memory.

Yeah, I figured that but was hoping there was some trick :( Thanks anyways!
