Not getting the full performance from my 6950 I think

I recently got a Radeon 6950 from my bro since he bought a new comp. Anyways it feels as if I'm not getting the performance I should be from the card.
Here are my system specs.

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_gdr.120305-1504)
Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
System Model: GA-MA770-UD3

Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 940 Processor (4 CPUs), ~2.9GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM

I downloaded "Video Card Stability Test" and ran the benchmark and scored a 552.

What kind of FPS are you getting? Have you ran any other tests? Check your FPS on games maxed out if you can and post screen shots of FPS.

I ran another one called Cinebench and scored 46 FPS
On TF2 ill get about 230 frames and on a Game called TERA i'll get about 45.
I was comparing mine to my friends and he runs a 480 and he gets about 60 - 75 frames on TERA. On TF2 he gets about 280-300 or so he says at least.

It is hard to determine if you're getting adequate performance vs a different type of card. Especially ati vs nvidia as some games support the other better. ie physX. Those numbers seem a tab bit low though for a 6950. I wish I had mine back from RMA to compare it to. Have you benched it on 3d mark? Then compared it to the online database yet?

Yeah and I scored 14000 on 3Dmark vantage.
